Homemade Broccoli Soup

Hey hey - it's HUMP day - so in honor of that I am giving you a recipe to try.

I mean I know it's soup & I know it's like 100 degrees - but it still tastes MMMM MMMM delicious!

First off - who doesn't like Broccoli Soup? Hands down my favorite, well other than potato but that's a whole other story.
 Ingredients
fresh broccoli chopped {I use 3 full heads - or trees - whatever you prefer to call them}
1/4 cup butter
1/2 chopped onion
1 clove of garlic
1/4 cup flour
1 cup half & half
1 cup milk
1 bouillon cube mixed with 2 cups boiling water
shredded carrot to your preference
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cardamom
shredded cheese to your preference
4 ounces velveeta cheese
salt & pepper to your taste

Instructions
Place butter in a soup pan over medium & saute the onion & garlic.
Add in flour while stirring constantly.
Add in half & half, milk, & bouillon cube mix.
Bring to an almost boil.
Add broccoli & carrots.
Simmer on low for 20 minutes.
Add nutmeg, cardamom, salt & pepper.
Stir in cheeses.
Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
SERVE!

Cheers ya'll!!
