Lemon Cucumber Shampoo

So I've been trying all new things - basically because I think I am cheap. Or it may be California. I don't know. It's probably a mixture of both.

I tried Lemon Cucumber Shampoo - yes I made my own shampoo & it consisted of only these 2 items. As you know from my previous post I've been using baking soda. Which, I still do love, but I wanted to give it a go on something else so I tried this!

Ingredients
1 lemon
1 cucumber
blender
bottle
funnel

Instructions
rinse & peel cucumber & lemon then chop
I would suggest taking out the seeds in both the lemon & cucumber, I only did the lemon
add them to your blender
blend for 1-2 minutes
pour into bottle
I used 2 lemons because lemons are served as the shampoo - to rid the dirt, grease, & grime .. I have more oily hair hence the 2 lemons. The cucumber serves the purpose of conditioner.
And then here is your proof that my hair doesn't look crazy because I know this idea sounds crazy. Honestly my hair looks more shiny that what it normally does.
{and please ignore the long bangs}

So my opinion - which I know that is really important to you all ..

I LOVED IT, I actually like it better than the baking soda BUT it has some pitfalls to the baking soda ... 1. It must be refrigerated 2. It only keeps for 5 days 3. It can be more expensive than shampoo or the baking soda 4. Thoroughly rinse out because little white pieces can be left in your hair looking like you have dandruff.

This is something I want to do at least once a month because I feel like it gave my hair a refreshment. Highly recommend.

Look at you! I'm totally going to try this. :)
I pour a little baking soda on my toothbrush sometimes to brush my teeth. Works wonders to clean and whiten. Then of course do your normal brushing routine :)

I love your long bangs! I have never tried Lemon and cucumber for hair but I know that apple cider vinegar will work wonders on dull lifeless hair.

BBF! I love this!! ...will the lemon lighten your hair at all? If not, I might have to make some, myself! And I kind of love the long bangs. :)

Hello, I like your blog. This is a great site and I wanted to post a comment to let you know,
I, myself, liked the fact that wedding dresses use to be any color, not just plain white,
even though they are so many lovely shades of white out there to choose from.
I would of picked a color for my wedding gown.
I would definitely have gone for a wedding dress that had some zing to it, a little……. “hey,
how you doing? Look at me!” kind of
Fort Lauderdale Beach Wedding….. color, yep, that would of been the #1 thing on my list.
